High-End Apartments in Adams Morgan Available for Pre-Leasing
The Silva in Adams Morgan is officially pre-leasing its 172 apartments, which range from studios to two bedrooms. The first residents are expected to move in by mid-August.
Designed by Grimshaw Architects, The Silva offers views of the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Monument. The complex, owned by EastBanc and Mitsui Fudosan America Inc., also has a collection of local art featured in the lobby and 25,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
Located at 1630 Columbia Road NW, The Silva marks Mitsui Fudosan America's first completed multifamily apartment development in Washington, D.C.
The 172 apartments include 10 penthouse suites. The Silva has a rooftop terrace with views of the Capitol and the Washington Monument. The building also has a pool and a private courtyard with greenery.
"When we designed The Silva, we were inspired by nearby Rock Creek Park to create a lush retreat among the dense, urban environment of Adams Morgan," Hope Richardson, executive vice president of development at EastBanc, said in a statement Thursday. "We are excited to finally start pre-leasing and share life at The Silva with our residents."
Each of the units at The Silva features full-sized Miele, Bosch and Whirlpool kitchen appliances, operable windows with Mecho roller shade and custom Elfa closet systems. The 10 penthouse units come with spacious terraces.
The Silva provides concierge car detailing, on-site bike repair, away-from-home plant and pet care, and complimentary in-home installations for TVs, custom lighting and art.
The Silva is within walking distance to the Columbia Heights and Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Stations, Rock Creek Park and Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park.
Real estate company Bozzuto will serve as property manager of The Silva. Prospective residents can learn more about the building and pre-leasing options by visiting www.thesilvadc.com.
